    Adding a motor

    Hi all.

Just wondering if i simply have to add a motor to my dish.

Its situated on the side of my apartment block 3 storys. It's comunal i assume. not a sly mini dish its a circle one maybe an 60 or 80cm as you can tell im a newbie. Its mounted on quite a large pole would it be possible for me to purchase a motor and just install it to the existing setup?

if its a communal dish then its not just feeding your flat and is probably a quattro lnb feeding into a big multi-switch with fm/dab/dtt aswell. basically you either need to fit your own second 80cm dish, motor, lnb or stick with 28.2e which its probably fixed on,regards mdt

I would also look at your tenancy agreement before you have anything installed, wont matter if you Rent or own the apartment most have stipulations about the aesthetic exterior of the building being untouched which means no aerial or dishes to be installed. On the other hand if other residents have there own Dish then your in luck
