    No signal

Hi guys, small problem which may have happened last night because of the high winds, turned my vu box on tonight and no signal, I've a motorised dish with single lnb- the dish moves fine I've searched for a few satellites but no signal at all , and the motor has a flashing green light & red light when not moving, I've also tried a second box and it's the same with no signal, would I be right in assuming the problem is the coax from motor to lnb or the lnb itself ?

sounds more like the dish and motor got moved by the wind, happened to me 32 months ago and had to go up the ladder and realign the motor onto the marks I made last summer

Yeah the dish may have dropped down a bit, strange that I can't find any signal from the other 3 or 4 I drove the motor to, I can't get up the ladder until tomorrow so hopefully it is just the alignment.

Found out what the problem was - I must be blind I didn't see it in the first place ! The wind has pushed a large dent outward from the back of the dish ! ,ive pushed the dent back out a bit - but is this dish knackered now and would I be wasting my time putting it back up again ?IMG_0603.JPGIMG_0604.JPG

Its FUBAR time for a new dish even if it did work due to the imperfections in the Dish face its altered its efficiency on the whole
