    Sky UK - Spain

    Hi there,

I have a friend in southern spain (Costa Del Sol)

apparently sky moved satellites so it makes it impossible to recieve tv in southern Spain, Can anyone confirm or give advice on this?

it wasnt a hasty reply, it was a hasty question when other questions had already been raised so no need for a third thread on the same topic

the fta channels have moved from one sat to another sat and are continuing to do so , so expect more changes as its an ongoing process

it would not surprise me if paid for channels are affected too, or may become affected soon , possibly this week

if they still get some of the channels then they should enjoy them while they last, but I would think all channels will be affected eventually

its also worth bearing in mind that the FTA channels are not sly , they are FREESAT channels , so it wasnt sly who moved satellites, it was FREESAT
