    Help with blade receiver

I have a bm7000s and I've had it for a couple of years now without any problems but it has recently started taking around 5 minutes to detect an internet connection.
I use homeplugs so thought maybe it was the plugs so I tried different plugs but still the same problem so tried it connected straight to my router and it still does it. I've tried factory reset and this has done nothing.
Its very odd as once its connected it is fine its just taking ages to connect.
I suppose I can live with it but it is very annoying having to switch it on 5 minutes before I want to watch anything.
I don't suppose anybody knows a solution or maybe something I have done by mistake in the settings.

    Regards

First course of action is to Upgrade the firmware to the latest version: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ml#post2222662

Cheers but that's the one I'm on. I could try going back to a previous one though.

Worth a try sometimes it could be a slight corruption in the update of the Firmware i know for the technomate models they have a specific way of updating which requires original stock firmware, the procedure is as follows

        1. Reset STB to factory default
        2. Switch off STB for 30 seconds then switch on
        3. Load Original stock firmware then factory Reset
        4. Switch off STB for 30 seconds then switch on
        5. Load Patched firmware and then Factory reset

It may seem long winded but for the TM's its a way to stop any corruptions it is also advisable not to load any pre-made channel lists you may have had and do a fresh scan on the new firmware

        Maybe worth a try
