    What Satellite box to purchase

    Hi Folks,

So i am getting a motorised system in a couple of weeks and been told on here that my Skybox is really not up to the job for motorised with limited channels etc.

I have used the DM500 years ago and that is what i used before i moved onto the openbox. i have looked a t a few threads but cant make my mind up.

I need a box that is easy to use and has full multi sat support as well as HD and i can get regularly updated channel lists for all Euro satellites.

One other thing i would like to be able to do is use the box as a server to stream around the house to PC's (in HD if possible)

Budget - prefer to spend in the region of ?100 on the box but could go to ?200 if there is a big reason to spend more.

Any and all feedback much appreciated

Your Going to need an Enigma2 Receiver for the streaming to other PC/Laptop part.

Under ?100 and your looking at one of the Clone Ibox style receivers, up to ?200 and you can get something like a Vu Uno with Single Pluggable Tuner and in the future id needs arise you can swap it out for the Twin Tuner

I'd definitely think about stretching your budget to a VU+ Solo2, they're amazing boxes and well worth the small extra outlay.
