    Astra 2f channels not appearing on spiderbox

    hi guys i have a spiderbox 7000hd i cant seem to get the channels on the new astra satellites ..no itv hd and channel 5 etc can anyone help

    depends on your location as to whether or not you will receive the new channels and transponders

      I read elsewhere that ITV hd is under a new transponder because Astra are shifting a satellite . Rescan might be in order.

      I know nothing about spiderbox so maybe a scan is not possible, so excuse my ignorance.

        I have done a rescan and i am still not getting channels on the new 2F satellite..no support on the spiderbox now ..what do you guys recommend i get as a new box

          There is nothing wrong with the Spiderbox range persay its just that they are no longer supported with firmware updates, the reason you may not be able to scan these channels in is because they are probably not in the transponder list on your receiver.

          Have you tried doing a Blindscan in either 4 or 2mhz steps on 28.2? east as this may pick up the non-existent TP's

            Thanks digicon i did a blindscan i had no idea i could do that , and all the missing channels suddenly appeared great...i am still going to replace the spiderbox there is just no support for it.
