Plugin error on Cloud Ibox 2 Plus (OpenVix Zeus Build 011)

I (stupidly) attempted to install the XBMCaddons plugin on my Ibox 2 Plus tonight and immediately started to receive errors when opening the Plugins menu.

I have since removed it but I'm still receiving an error when I press the plugins button on the remote. This error only occurs once per boot and then doesn't appear again until after the box/enigma has been rebooted.

    Some plugins are not available:
SystemPlugins/VFDControl (global name 'getBoxType' is not defined)
There are no XBMC plugin directories in the usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins folder.

This has been driving me crazy and I have tried running a factory reset and reflashing the box with a new version of Vix to get rid of it but the error is still there.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of it?

Myself personally i would Flash my Backup image of everything working stable : http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...1/#post2260513

Then once flashed update image and make another backup and then try different plugins to see what makes the image unstable, You will have no need to worry because you always have a backup you can rely on

Thanks but oddly I did restore a vanilla clone safe vix build to it though as well a restore of my own and the problem seemed to still be there even with the vix stock plugin list.

I originally thought that a reflash would provide the get out free card for problems like this but the problem seems to have been retained somehow.

The Problem should not be there as once you perform a Clean Flash of another image the Nandflash gets wiped so any problems with a previous image are erased or they should be unless you get a corruption in the nandflash sector but this being a new machine i would not have thought tha a problem

That's what I thought would happen but it didn't unfortunately. The only reason I can think of (other than a corrupted nand which I hope isn't the case) is that I reflashed with the same build that was on the box already (Zeus ps2gamer) so could it be that some sectors were left untouched during the reflash?

I think I'll try flashing it with BH and then go back to Vix to see if that helps.
