    installing a second sky box

    hi all i was wondering if it would be possible to run two sky boxes of the one single lnb.?

    yes you can you would need to change the lnb for 1 like the 1 you got but with with 2 connecters then run a new wire from it to where your second box is . this 1 is for 8 wires but its just for show

      i was told that i could install a splitter at the box i have and run it that way and have the existing cable coming into the splitter then the two boxes feeding off it?

        wont work mate as both boxes will have to watch channels on the same transponder, for full funtionality you need to change you lnb.

        you can get a quad lnb for a tenner and only takes a few mins to change...very easy
