    protek 9770 ip hd?

hey lads just a quick question, a friend of mime knows someone who is getting rid of his protek 9770 ip hd box, im thinking of upgrading my skybox f5s, does anyone know if they are good boxes and reliable, ive never heard of them but they seem to be quiet expensive online?
    any input would be great,
    thanks in advance!

Cacti hit the nail on the Head they are a very good receiver and its main attraction is the Free Gift included which before you ask will not open anything on 28.2? east, These receivers are meant to be coupled to a Motorised Dish to maximise whats included.

But just be warned the Protek Guy's switch MAC addresses off after a certain period so the box pretty much becomes a FTA satellite receiver

          Hi Buddy,

First off can i just remind you of the Forum rules: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...rules-2/#post2 if you have not read them then now is a good time especially this one: Discussions about cardsharing are not allowed

and to answer your other Question about the Humax No you cant i am afraid to say, Invest in a better receiver read around the Open/Skybox section about the many problems people have with these cheap chinese receivers
