Hi, ive had a spiderbox 6000HD for a few months now and after updating the software ive found the product to be perfect for my needs.
However, i feel its time to upgrade my SKY HD box in the bedroom to something similar and figure its time to stump up some cash as i really want.
i have seen some of these fancy boxes for ?400-500 but i dont want nothing that expensive, but i do want something that is reliable and is going to be supported in the near future - i am a believer in you get what you pay for

- better EPG - do any of these download or work in a way similar to sky, ie more than now and next. its proving to be annoying to have to check the internet to see what films are on etc.
- at least dual tuner / recording facility
- ability to update with custom software, and other "stuff"
- any internet / smart tv type features a bonus but not essential
