Hey guys, hope everyone's had a good day today.
I've been eyeing up this box for a while. It's cheap, and seems to do what I want, ahem well with one feature we wont discuss here. (Go me for reading the rules)
Anyone who has used an alien 2+ can you tell me the following please if its not too much trouble
-whats the speed like
-on the front display, whats the spinning disc for?, does it always show the time or does that change to an elapsed timer?
-is the DVB-T portion good? on uk terrestrial does the red button malarky work?, and on that side, how do you activate/knowifitsworking HbbTV?
-lastly what plugins are there? and are they all on one server? or do I have to download some manually?
I'm not too bothered with enigma, if they both do the same then I'll stick with spark. Unless someone can tell me what I would gain from using Enigma 2 instead of spark? For the record, I cannot get 28E, the point of this box is for my Speedway/Zuzel needs from 13E. I have access to the TV packages I need there. (I wont go any further on how what or why)
Much appreciated with any information anyone can give me, if there's any hi-res screenshots going of the interface / front panel display then I'd appreciate that. (google seems to have poor ones)
