What are The must have satellites in UK?

I"d say Thor at 1west is a must have mate.But if you put a motor on the dish you can take your pick I"d use a 90cm dish its big enough for most channels without being too heavy.

i have already installed a 90CM motorised dish with a dm500s. have got 28.2e, 23.5e, 19.2e, 16.0e, 13.0e, 9.0e, 4.8e, 0.8w and 7.0w.

Is there anything after 28.2e?

there's not much open anywhere now
0.8 or as most call it 1w has digi-tv open
there are a few chns on sirus 4.8e
and bits and bobs on hotbird 13e
there's also canal+nl on astra and bullsat on
hellasat 39e for anyone with a diablo cam
plus if you have a hd box some channels on astra 3 at 23e
i have sats from 42e to 30w set on my list but most now only
have free to air channels open since the providers changeed to
nagra 3 etc. you say you have 7w set i think you could have 8w
set. i have a 1.2 dish and get very little from nilesat at 7w and
i only get the vertical chns in good weather usualy in the evening
i get no signal in the daytime from the uk

turksat on 42e used to show a bit footy, if usuing usals you should have more satellites than that, i get about 20

Im getting sky sports de, sky sports italia, and movies opening. is this normal? are these channels suppose to be free?

On 0.8w 3/4 of channels are opening. the only thing i did is put keys. im not on any CS server yet

did you buy the box second hand??? if so its possible that the previous owner left in their cs configs

The box was new but i transfered an image from a friends computer
