2 dish set-up will this work?

HI, I am looking to install a 2 dish set up

dish one will be motorised 1m and i am planning on connecting an outside switch to this so that i can switch control of the motor between 2 boxes. i will fit a quad Lnb to the and leave 2 spare for future expansion

the second dish will be a fixed zone 2 dish. the dish will be connected to one box along with the motorised dish (vu+ duo2 ) as well as 3 other boxes.

a couple of questions. should the switch just be an a/b switch?
second will the box that is connected to 2 dishes work ok on the zone 2 dish when the diseq switch is diverted to the second box?

Maybe im shooting in the wrong direction on this, if anyone has this tye of set up or knows of a better way to do this i would love to hear it.

on a duo 2 single box installation you would have the motorised dish feed on input 1 and fixed dish feed on input 2 , so 2 coax feeds

if you fit an A-B switch on the motorised feed and switch to a second box, then the duo2 will have no feed on input 1, but can still use the fixed dish feed on input 2

Thanks Ramjet - really appreciate the feedback. was just concerned that it might not work or short out!

Trying to control a motorised system from 2 Box's is not a good idea, because the box needs to know where the dish is, and it takes a reference from its last position, to go to another chosen Satellite position.
