Hi' Guys it has been awhile.

Hi? Guys it?s been a long time really since I have looked around the forum.
Mainly because the Spider boxes have been showing no real interest on the forum since the feed was switched off.
However my dish motor packed in the other day (STAB) and I replaced it with the ALsat Dark Motor ?50. The guy who fitted it tried to sell me a new Spiderbox 6000hd.
My 9000hd still works ok although it had its last update in March 2012.
Is there any point in changing it, also is there any point in having it connected to broadband any more. In fact is there anything I can do with it that would give it more functionality.
It has been scanned for new channels.
If you don't ask, you don't get.

the 9000 will still work with the you know what added in the c or n sections

the other bit went years ago, although the new 6000 has that "bit" once again

if you use google you will also find an option to restore it on the 9000 , but due to forum rules here I cannot say any more

so you pays your money, and takes the choice , on the old , or with the new

Hi Folks tried the 6000 and play it against the 7000 and 9000 the Quality just out ways itself in favor on the older Spidders.

The 6000 is cheaply manufactured for quick cheep mass market and do you think the one you buy today will be functional in five years time.
