Help needed thinking of going motorised !!

Hi Guys after some pointers pls heres my story , i currently have a skybox F5 and a 12 month sly gift which is about to expire, so i have been reading that the sly channels (HD first) are being removed.
So i am wondering if getting a motorised dish would be of any use to me i am also looking at upgrading my box to a VU+ Duo2 if it will be worth my while? (i want a box where i can record to and rewind tv etc).

I am a complete newbie to this so i dont know what advantages a motorised dish will give me (what english speaking channels i can get etc)

your help is greatly appreciated and i am looking forward to your replies and learning more about my tv system etc

the english speaking programmes are generally to be had on 28.2e , which you already have

whilst there are some channels on other sats with english audio (or native audio which is usually english) , its worth bearing in mind that if you are looking at "foreign" satellites it will mainly have their language on the channels , so dont expect the holy grail ! yes you will get films and some programmes in english , maybe with subtitles in the native language , sometimes with english audio if you change audio pids , dont expect to see all programmes with english as the audio

a vu duo 2 with internal HDD will allow record and playback, also you can ftp programmes and films in mp4 and mkv and avi over , and mp3`s over too , then play them from the internal hdd

you can also stream from the net , download a 24/7 epg and various other extras too, so plenty to go at no matter what happens with satellite
