    Whats a biss key?

    Hi guys

    sorry if a stupid question but seen a few mention of biss keys,what are they and what are they used for?

    Sorry if its a stupid question just still very new to this hobby

      Basic Interoperable Scrambling System


      Its an Encryption used mainly for Feeds on various satellites and uses a 32 bit key.

      Its used by a few providers and if the key is known dependant on what receiver you have you can unlock and watch the channel.

      Check out the popular Kingofsat,Flysat,Lyngsat websites to see what channels are using the system
