    Thor 5 (0.8)w

    Hi im looking to pick up thor 5 0.8 to get C+ for all the premiership footie they got 350 games nxt year, so i got a fixed dish on hotbird 13e not motorised was wondering to pick it up when im standing behind the dish do i spin the dish to the right? and does the dish have to go up or down cheers

    yeah dish up a bit m8 to about 30 degrees and turn to the right from hotbird..

      to the right & up a bit its just a tad west of due south and higher in the sky, I think you will need an 80 or 90cm dish to pull it in.

          I get Thor perfect on a 60cm dish in Norwich. Signal strength is around the 80% mark. Useless in the rain though.

            there are many satellites crowded near the 1.0w, i dont know if it can be done manually.

              I suggest that you borrow a compass of someone, and point the dish towards south. Thats what i did, and after a little tweaking i got it bang on.
