Need some help please?

Hi,

I'm trying to get my Mum installed with Intelsat 907 in Southern Spain.
I don't want to pay the crooks that are advertising down here.

I have a GI HD Mini Box and know I need to somehow program it with the BISS Keys.
I'm not asking for the keys but cannot understand how to program the box with the relevant keys?

I know this might sound stupid but I'm lost on this one.

Not too familiar with that Box as it appears to be geared up for European use, the little information i could find said a Guy in portugal has one working apart from that information is very sparse.

The only known ones that i know of are the Technomate Range, Blade 7000s, the DRHD Range and a few others with patched firmware.

2. press 2 x button Info on R/C and 2 x red button on R/C
3. enter biss key

Thank for that, so basically once the firmware has been patched it enables you to enter some sort of installer menu where you can input the biss key?

Where did you find the info, I've been searching everywhere?

its been discussed on this forum and other sat forums many times in the last few years, so plenty of threads about it and digicon has given the same information dozens of times and has personal experience of these boxes like the DrHD

depends if you are trying to get satback on 27.5w or not , very difficult on the vu or linux boxes although I have heard of it working using openpli 4 and o**** ymod

otherwise its personal choice (my duo has BH on it but vix when I first got it)

Yes, it's for 27.5w. openpli o**** ymod.....I'm confused again

basically , it is very difficult to open 27.5w with a dreambox or a vu (or any linux box I believe)

the only report of it being successful are when using the openpli 4 image and o**** ymod (a special version of o**** which is an emulator) and the use of the biss keys in constant.cw or whatever the file is, I cannot tell you excatly how as I have never tried it , what I have done is read about it on certain forums (possibly this one)

you will have to do the research and find the info you need now that you know what I have said , possibly in the vu forums here

the easiest method is to use the boxes that digicon mentioned , patched and with the biss key added (I know the blade 7000s works as I have tried it myself)

i am am using a Gi Mini and an Alma 2100. I have the latest firmware for both. If you wish I can upload it but may need some help as I am not familiar with this website.
