    lost satellites

    hi all
    ive had my system for a few months now and all of a sudden i can no longer get certain satellites ie thor 0.8 w or astra 23 e, i can get hotbird eutelsat 19.2 e eurobid , my system is set up with diseq1.2 and was working great ive tried manually scaning but the motor just takes the dish past where it should be , also in the direction my dish is pointing there is a very bushy tree that has shot up over the last few months which is 2 gardens down could this have something to do with loss ov sateliites cos my dish is on a pole and is only 7ft off the ground

    hello mate,not too sure if my info will be right but will give it a go.
    your dish needs to be around twice the distance from the trees as they are high I think.can you try usals? set it up on a sat you can receive then I think the dish will move to any sat regardless of obstuction.

      ive tried usals but when i try to in put my lat and long it wont let me input my location co-ordinates for some reason which are
      Latitude = 53.4857, Longitude = -2.5188
      Lat = 53 degrees, 29.1 minutes North
      Long = 2 degrees, 31.1 minutes West
      when i input them it let me inpt 53.4 but not 2.51 it comes out has 251

        in the longitude it should read 02.5W for starters,even when you get it working you wont receive if the trees are in the way it will just read "moving to satellite even tho the motor will stop inthe right place
