'Watch TV on Computer' software?

Hi,

OK Im new and stupid, there done.
Now could anybody tell me if these streaming over the net software packages are complete pap or actually worth something? I have just read a link and they just look like pathetic spam for rubbish. 4000 channels for something like 70 quid for the software. No mention of what they are.
Does anybody know what channels or if you'd get premiership footy, darts, cricket etc? I would doubt it myself?

This always pops up around the start of the football season ! you will find its all the free streaming channels from around the world compressed into one software program, you will never find Premiership football on it !

Aslo what they make you do is become an affiliate to sell on the program in return for a few pence per sale ... all of these things are a waist of time and you will never make any money back even to cover the loss of the 70 quid that you spent .....

Another quick mention, a lot of online feed were a result with N2 been open in Europe and the U.S people with multiple receivers could stream to the PC and broadcast online to these sites, but seeing as N3 is in opperation a lot of online especially football coverage has stopped...

What also pops up around now is premium online sites covering football on a subscription basis when you add up the cost of some 10 quid a month it would be better to give a few extra quid to your Satellite or cable opperator just for the quality of service.....

I have in the past watched streams on the PC. To be honest, the qaulity and sometimes jerky streaming was really anoying.

Best to save up what you can and get the best sat equipment you can afford.

May seem a lot on the outlay, but you have it then and I gotta say, you wont look back.

i fully agree.. i started watching saturday games on my PC about 5 years ago.. it was awful, and from what ive seen the quality hasnt improved much..

My first set up all those years back was ?60 for a starter dish pack (Dish LNB, Brackets, Coax, Clips and Connectors) and ?75 for my receiver..

I havent looked back since..

I remember getting my first technomate, and 80cm dish fixed on hotbird and an ART card, art card was ?112. ?112, shit, seems like a dream now, showed just about all the 3pm, happy days.

It's bizzare getting your first non sky set up, it's like there is a whole world out there you dont know about; or sky dont want you to know about.

Art, even Digitalb was good value till a couple of years back, ?160 and with 3pm footy.

Getting harder to get 3pm footy even by buying legit cards. Digitalb ?240 odd with no 3pm and bad quality, no ta, then Nova etc all upwards of ?600.

Had a good run from my Diablo.

yep.. sad state but if you havent got a linux box and know how to cardshare then you wont get anything these days

cardshare is the only way forward. for 10 Euro/month you can get everything from 42e - 30w . lets forget about keys

you wont get CS for free anywhere. To get into a Server you will need to bring in your own card. And that card is much more than 10 euros per month
