Amiko HD8140 problem

hi there,hope there is someone that can help.i have a Amiko SHD8140,and when I go into its settings to update the channel lists etc,either from ftp or http,it says check software version error on the screen in a box.thus not letting me update anything.

any help would be much appreciated
