    WIFI Dongle setup

Just purchased this dongle for my DM800HD CLONE Wifi Bridge Dongle Wireless Connector For Dreambox Xbox PS3 UK STOCK | eBay Has not arrived yet but was wondering if they are easy to set up and what would be the best image to use with it as I have read it will not work on every image.

That particular Wi-Fi dongle will work on any image as you actually set it up first on your PC/Laptop entering your details/pasword for your network once done you just connect into Lan port on rear of the receiver and the USB to power it and away you go.

Choose LAN connection when setting up in the image and not Wireless

looking to set up a sky box f5s for a mate. he doesn't have a fixed line. he has quite a good ping from his wireless router. Would this get around a problem or would we be wasting our time?

These are better and a cheaper option.

Unfortunately those aren't an option for him. This is what he gets his broadband through
Vodafone Mobile WiFi R215 | Vodafone Ireland

            Probably a lost cause.
