sky HD channels

Im thinking of getting a sky HD box, but dont wont to pay the extra on top for the HD service, can anyone tell me if i get any HD channels working free eg BBC,ITV,CH4 if i dont pay the extra to sky HD for the service.

you will get bbc hd also chan4 as long as it has a working card well this work's on most sat receivers im more than sure you can get itv hd but you will need to edit some stuff in its settings to do it seen a post some were on it also im not sure if it can be done on all the sky receivers

I have a Sky HD box without a HD sub and can confirm you get BBC HD, Chan 4 HD and Luxe HD. If you have the new EPG (like I do) you can get ITV HD by adding it and viewing it via the other channels bit in the menus. Unfortunately you cannot pause or record ITV HD but most of the time the only thing worth watching on ITV HD is football and that you'd be watching live anyway.
