as a newbie here you need to read the rules properly, seeing as half of your post violates the rules about topics which cannot be discussed

after that, you will find its complicated, each box is different (just like mobile phones and cars and tablets etc) so assume each one has its own learning curve

if you spend the time googling and messing with a cheap box like a spider 6000 HD then you can learn on the fly and gradually build up the knowledge
but part of the problem is the fact people have fixed dishes on 28e and not motorised dishes or multiple lnb setups on fixed dishes
this causes them to try and cut costs by illegal methods which is why forums ban that aspect and topic , especially SLY !

read my posts in that thread , then when you get the idea post back with any queries that dont break the rules here , so NOTHING about SLY

also bear in mind you should have searched out the relevant posts and threads, mine being just one of many on these topics

try goldwafers and world of sat and possibly other reputable websites for the equipment

My friend had some guy come round and install some box for about ?200 I think (including the box) and he's been watching all the UK stuff for 12 months + problem free so I assumed that's exactly what could be done cheaply and relatively easily. I saw and openbox thing on youtube and it seemed easy enough if you have the right files. I was hoping that if i could gain some knowledge here I could do it myself for around ?50-100.

If I wanted 3pms would I need a bigger dish and motorised or can this be achieved using 'the standard' dish. In the past i've got 360 prem games using smart dns and an internet sports subscription in the middle east but I found this glitchy with lowering of quality and drop outs etc - plagued by issues really. I do have a new broadband connection but I think it could the the vpn that causes the issues.

the part you avoided is all the above is illegal and asking people to help you means they are aiding and abetting an illegal act

so the rules are

dont talk about or ask about any illegal hacking of sly

dont talk about or ask about the methods of doing so either , be it by "sea lions" or cs or any other method of viewing sly without a valid subscription ,
including "g*fts" or dubious men coming round in an unmarked car or van and enabling people to watch channels without a valid subscriber subscription

in a nutshell, if its not legal, dont ask , and its not allowed by pm either, in other words, NOT AT ALL - PERIOD
