Best box which is dual tuner and runs VIX

Hoping someone can help me out here

Currently have a VU+ Duo and has a static connection and a motorised dish connection. Does its job great. I am in the process of moving house where the Mrs has allowed me to use one of the rooms as a man cave(go me) so need a second box for her to watch in the main living room as I will be taking the VU into the man cave and hooking the motorised to it. She knows how to work VIX and likes the GUI so need a box which runs VIX. Also will have 2 28.2 feeds running so need a box with dual tuners and hard drive support. Have looked at Vu duo clones and some weird clone called a vu duo mini. Just wondering is there anything else out there?

next step up vu solo2 faster and better,you want higher duo2,keep away from them clones as they can do your head in

Cheers everyone I live in the styx in Northern Ireland so no cable does the solo2 have enough grunt to run the motor?

yes, and get it without the hdd ie add your own, its lightning fast so you can try loads of images. I have just got one, saw it on ebay and made an offer. It has 3 usb slots, one in front and 2 at rear, 2 card slots. and a CI slot. And if you add the sony play tv to one of the usb slot, download a dtt driver, it wil get you feeview hd and as its a twin tuner you can watch one and record another but this box is so good you can record about 8 channels at one time. And it will get you saorview. You will love it.

(ebmitie) which box are you on about as it sounds quite good as I am after a new box with a better EPG and so i can watch and record another channel, does this box also do series link, am looking for a box which will give me as close to the same experience as the sky + box as possible.

the solo2, I dont do a lot of recording and if I do I just use timer. There is a facility with the vix image called Autotimer and it works like series link.
