can i get 13.0e, 19.2e and 1w from South Africa?

Im thinking of sending my friend in southern africa a dreambox and a motor for a big dish. Is there any chance of locking on 13.0e and 19.2e? He will get as well multichoice africa on 68e and 36e.

Another question is if its possible to use mobile phone 3G, GPRS to connect to the DM for CS?

    Hi m8
this is a site for footprints.
    Sat Europa - Information
As regards to mobile connection, Dreambox require ethernet port to connect to, (except the 8000 wireless) so unless you can connect with cable!!!

Im sure 36e, 68e and a few other sats for his location will provide him with what he want to watch.

Yeh supersport actually show more footy matches than sky uk. but multichoice is very shallow with few packages to talk about thats why he wanted to hook up european satellites as well.

I have just see on another forum that 1w thor is receivable anywhere in southern africa with all transponders.

If its true this will be a good thing with all the sport, movies, bbc world, doccumentaries, etc, on digi

i think you might have read about cband on 1west that it is maybe possible but the dish would need to be big

also the channels might not be the same on the c band transponders
