Would appreciate some help please. Acquired an eagle 1000s which was running fine. Came to switch it on after a few days from standby and was only getting the free to air channels. Its got a PLI image on it but every time I start the box the pli image remains on screen and although I can navigate menus I cant get any channels now. Just a few random questions please:-
1. if i factory reset the box will the PLi image remain on the box, and if it will is there some instructions on which sattelite to choose etc please e.g. a complete set up guide after an image has been flashed ?
2. the box may need a reflash, is there any safe way to flash an image on it apart from using a null modem cable as I dont have xp and a computer with a com port
3. what is the best image for this box ?
