I just got my hands on a Smart TV, made by Vestel using the brand name "Walker". It comes with an inbuilt satellite tuner.
There is a SatcoDX option, but Googling tells me that SatcoDX is either dead, or half dead, and I can't seem to find an editor for .sdx files anywhere.
An SDX file can be saved to a usb stick and uploaded from this to the tv. To experiment, I saved the channel details to a usb stick from the tv, which is how I discovered that the saved file was a .sdx.
The file opens in Microsoft Wordpad, but I don't know whether Wordpad can be used to edit the file.
There's a channel editor mentioned elsewhere on the forum, but when I downloaded it, Comodo told me that it had a virus in it. Of course it could be a false positive.
Anyone got any bright ideas?
