VU+ solo original

My friends solo failed this morning, was working fine last night. This morning its just red light and will not turn on. Any ideas or dead box?

you got my issue also,there is a tiny reboot switch at rear beside scart press it and box reboots and be working again,probably needs reflashing as a bug is stored again,save your important info before doing a full flash with no backups used.setup from scratch again.

I cant reflash it, no output from the box, no response from the serial.. just been reading it looks like a power supply problem from the power board. Thanks for replies though.

so more than the reboot button needing pressing,is it a clone as you are using serial cable?

No, its an original. I only tried coms from serial as no output from any of the video and the front usb had no power to it. On another forum it says a cap on the psu board as failed. 70p fix if you can solder OK.
