    Reliable receiver?

Any advice please on a reliable receiver? recently purchased an openbox v8 but has an audio issue, Spider box had the dreaded F100 fault and a Humax went belly up. Note I am NOT interested in any way regarding boxes with a ''gift'' just want something that will last a few years watching freesat channels, dish will be pointing towards 28E.
    Thanks and.
    Happy New Year

get yourself an official freesat box, humax are the best imo or if you like tinkering a bit then something like a technomate f3/5. regards mdt

Thanks for that, have spent a while searching reviews and or problems with the Technomate f3/5 and it seems there are more pro's than 'cons.
So a TM f3/5 is going to be the new toy, I also want a motorised 60cm dish ( I live 30 clicks due east of Geneva and within a good footprint for the popular sat's ).
It would be nice if I could get all this kit from one supplier, anyone on DK who could do that?
      Thanks again.
