no signal

hi my open box is saying no signal on every channel . im sure it had something to do with the bad winds ? a surge of power may b .. can this be sorted does anyone on this site repair them and what price please . im lost without it . its the open box v5s .. thanks for now

test it on a working sly dish feed - if ok you have a dish or lnb or cable problem

I'd try tweaking the dish slightly just bearing in mind the high wins of late.

hI . If you are in or near London i might be able to sort it out for you...for the price of a cuppa... otherwise check if dish has moved and realign it.

Clearly the dish has moved slightly and should be a simple fix, but it will cost if you get someone to do it, which should take all of 5 minutes...try yourself, it will not cost anymore if you mess it up.
Trick is to push the dish left or right then/or up and down, while somebody watchs a strong signal channel. You don't need to lossen the bolts just yet, since the dish will have some play. Most of the time its just millimeters involved. Even just bouncing the dish has worked for me in the past. Once it locks, your good to go. It just takes a bit and you can see the difference. Once you isolate the side, then move the dish and tight up. YOU can do it.
Think of which way the wind may have come in and hit the dish and move it back on your testing.
Of course this is simplified, but it can be that simple.
