is a dvb-t2 tuner hd or sd?

Hi all, sorry for the question but I can't find the answer..... well I am looking to the new blade bm8000 combo and on the specs it say dvb-t2 tuner, which is a terrestrial tuner but would I be able to tune for example to BBC HD freeview and other HD freeview channels? Thy is is not very clear on the specs....
Is there a standard (letters/numbers) on how to describe the tuners in general? Many thanks

dvbt2 is mpeg4 and thus mostly hd although think motors tv and possibly a few others are sd . whether a channel is broadcast in sd or hd via sat or dtt is down to the transmission but mpeg4 is more bandwidth efficient and 95% of broadcasts either dvbs2 or dvbt2 will be mpeg4 and of a hd quality.regards mdt
