combo boxes sat/cable recording

can you record a cable channel and a sat channel at the same time with these combo boxes or is there another way of doing it like adding a usb cable tuner to a sat box.

might depend on what combo as on a twin tuner sat box you can record on 2 but cant view if on different tp,you might be able to set recording on box but cannot view,its try it to see if it works.some combo state record on cable view sat and vice-versa.
