    Newbie here. Satellite receiver help

Okay, so I've just been told about all the different satellite receivers their are available. Just want to know what is the best one and the cheapest. From what i can gather i would need a twin tuner box so that i can record one programme while watching another. this is the biggest factor in buying a new machine, along with all the channels of course. All help is appreciated and sorry if this has been said before in the forums, I have had a look but I didn't see anything that answered my question (possibly missed it).

If your looking for a decent twin tuner receiver that wont cost the earth , id recommend the VU+ Duo. Ive had 1 for about a year and its an excellent box with plenty of features and simple to set up and customize.

there are dozens of threads on here that answer this age old question , but you wont go wrong with a genuine twin tuner VU box with internal hdd

        so

        a VU Duo 2

or a VU Solo 2 (cheaper)

or an older VU Duo (even cheaper)

tm twin or gigablu quad will also suffice as these are more like the duo (the third one down)

personally I wouldnt get the clones , but there may be a new box like maybe the nano 3 to look at (I have never used one)

best value for money may be the VU Solo 2

So VU+ Solo2 is definitely the way to go. Can anyone recommend the best place to buy one from? I've had a look on eBay, but didn't know if there was a more reputable site to buy from

just updated my duo to latest apollo 147 and i see many things missing now, kodi, tsmedia, cacheflush, but on tm nano se on 147 kodi and ts media are listed,so strengthens the need to keep to latest boxes if you need ts media and kodi working.
