Okay, so I've just been told about all the different satellite receivers their are available. Just want to know what is the best one and the cheapest. From what i can gather i would need a twin tuner box so that i can record one programme while watching another. this is the biggest factor in buying a new machine, along with all the channels of course. All help is appreciated and sorry if this has been said before in the forums, I have had a look but I didn't see anything that answered my question (possibly missed it).

there are dozens of threads on here that answer this age old question , but you wont go wrong with a genuine twin tuner VU box with internal hdd
so
a VU Duo 2
or a VU Solo 2 (cheaper)
or an older VU Duo (even cheaper)
tm twin or gigablu quad will also suffice as these are more like the duo (the third one down)
personally I wouldnt get the clones , but there may be a new box like maybe the nano 3 to look at (I have never used one)
best value for money may be the VU Solo 2Comment

So VU+ Solo2 is definitely the way to go. Can anyone recommend the best place to buy one from? I've had a look on eBay, but didn't know if there was a more reputable site to buy fromComment
