they do some football, sometimes, so as mentioned in the last post , yesterday had the MU game on

sometimes you have to lower your expectations for sat 3pm games, although people will always try to do what you asked for
but trying doesnt always mean succedding, especially when the powers that be dont want you watching it as and when you like

You can choose which game you want to watch on a weekend with a motorized dish & setup

you can check what games are on what sat here .........http://liveonsat.com/LJS_FT_br_eng_ALL.php

        Easy when you know how......

I installed my own motorised satellite system. The amount of time it took for me to figure it all out, I wouldn't describe it as easy. Or was it just me?
I haven't had a really good play with it yet, but have founds loads of sports channels across the arc. Although I struggled to find any channels that were showing the games with English commentaries with my 80cm dish.
What channels / sat specifically show EPL games with English commentaries?

OP - as others have highlighted, Setanta only shows one 3pm KO game. The one thing that I have noticed since getting Setanta is that it is relatively rare that the top 4 sides actually play at 3pm on a Saturday now, therefore the games that you are missing aren't necessarily Liverpool, Man C, Chelsea and Arsenal (Man U aren't a top 4 side in my book. LOL!) games. The other thing that I've noticed is that they often show Everton playing.

If you want English Commentary on 3PM games the only other channel avialable with your size of dish is ESPN Carribean 901 on 15? west open with Biss keys. That is if you can receive it

I guess Easy was the wrong choice of word ........

But once setup right & you know what your doing (yes it takes a while i'm 16 months in & still learning)
look on the bright side if anything happens to 28.2 you still have what you want .....its well worth the hassle to getting to know how to.
Saying that i'm glad i took the plunge for the price of the full setup......16 months hassle free viewing (not a glitch in sight )
and touch wood the box has never let me down.

As for the English audio channels not sure mate i watch them with foreign languages........picture is great in HD.....downside audio
saying that better than steaming the soccer off the net i guess........

I would get a meter dish tho depending where you are

Hi Take it from me installing a motor is easy.. you just need time and common sense. Or you can forget the motor and dish if you have a receiver with IPTV functions. I am watching two live Prem games on my Spiderbox 6000 HD with english voices. Picture quality is very good and you get tons of channels of all types of contents. Regards.

digicon - thanks for the tip re: ESPN. I assumed that as it was ESPN 'Carribean' you wouldn't be able to get at all in the UK.
I can't get any of the Western satellites at all due to the positioning of my house (I knew that before I put up the sat), but are planning to install a motorised sat for my grandfather at Easter and with his position, he has an unobstructed view of the full arc.

P&D - Yeh, I'm glad I did it as well. Even if it was just to gain the knowledge and experience and to watch repeats of Top Gear in German!

Mmm, sounds interesting. I'm not sure how much you can share on the forum and remain in the rules, but any info would be gratefully received.

The IPTV lists on the SB6000 are similar to the ones found on the Technomate F3/5 or 5402HD M3 version nothing new they are basically free ones that appear from time to time and need regular updates, Basically some cahnnels may work forever and some may last a day or two most of the good ones like sport as in Bein sports 1-15 last a very short time indeed.

these lists also work on other devices such as Mag250, Xbmc/Kodi, etc.. and are freely available if you know where to look they also work with a little modification on an E2 Linux receiver infact if you have any Vu+,Giga etc.. then i would suggest you download the iptv plugin with the updater works exactly the same

Hi How much does it cost?? The SB6000 is much better than the F3/5.. the quality and content are much superior. Have met many unhappy F3 customers. I have seen it for myself and decided to go for the SB The F3 only gives you loads of repeated ~~~~ and the quality is crap. It only cost me 70 pounds with all the goodies which you dont get with the F3/5... Regards

The point i was making is about the IPTV feature and not about whats 'Available' and by the way the SB6000 has more or less been discontinued there is a new model on the horizon being worked on which will replace it, which probably explains the highly inflated prices for them now on 'Ebay'

all i will say is this if your looking for IPTV then forget any satellite receiver and get yourself a Kodi/XBMC box with a Proxy/VPN and NBC sports live extra all 3pm games in HD with English comms for free.

Checkout the XBMC section on this very forum

Yes the SB6000 for 70 pounds gives you the Santa Claus etc and the quality is some of the best i have seen. The ebay ones you talk about are totally overpriced and no guarentee about Santa Claus so i would advise anyone to tread carefully. Dont know where you get the idea that they have been discontinued as i was told by the importers that they are waiting for new deliveries although the price has gone up....have to wait and see. The reality is that whatever road you go down nothing is guarenteed..its just a question of how much money you are willing to invest or lose if it goes kaput. Regards.

Its not an 'Idea' one of the Firmware writers for the 6000 more or less said so that there time is now being spent on writing software for a new model
