been away for a while..
showsports 1 and 2 are now available on 25.5 degrees east as
part of the orbit package,and all the big prem games will show on these 2.....i dont know the footprints for this sat yet,but i would
imagine 1.2 will be big enough..

I dont seem to have this satellite. i hae 26.0e

its dual orbit m8...like astra 2 an eurobird at 28.2e...
just looked at the footprints too and they are on the fixed beam
which just reaches france..so should be quite easily got on a 1.2

So in other words 25.5 is same as 26e? If so i have already failed to get 26e on a 1M dish

is this a fta channels or will this open with the protek/ maxx etc?
also have you had any probs with the protek ie loading software cos mine works fine but local supplier cant load the latest software for some reason,
also im now using tm 600 linux ,great box

Its encrypted in irdeto 2 and wont open on your protek,but
you might get it open on your tm if you can find a free/pay server..also i,m loading s/ware ok on my nano using webloader..
try missing the zero,s out on the last 6 digits of your box ip address and it should work....

Back on subject the fixed beam on 25.5e is quite a bit closer to us than badr 26e beams so anyone with a 1m dish or above should have a go...

i would go for a 1.2meter to play on the safe side..
i can get 3 transponders on 26e with my 90cm dish

I can get 18 chnls clearly on 90cm and about another 25 that
are breaking up and unwatchable...
