    Blade 7000s fav's question please

    Hi all

dug out an old bm 7000 and it has the following on it s/w oct12 2012

EDIT: have put on this flash "BM7000s-24-03-14-8ex" though it does not seem to have changed anything fav's wise.

    My question:

How do I access the favourites part, as all I seem to have is a~z etc
Unlike other boxes, I do not see a fav button on the remote, nor is it on screen via red or blue button etc.

Is it now part of the newer flash or am I missing something obvious.

    with thanks

Yes its right under the No.9 button and says Group, if i remember correctly the DrHD receivers do the exact same thing if you load the 28.2? east sat list i update and press Group your first choice is the satellite and then after is the FAV groups

All I have is, as previously mentioned, by pressing group I get a choice of satellites
pressing 28.2 does nothing (obviously if I press 13 deg it will move to that)

No other options of fav's after pressing group button or highlighing and pressing 28.2

either I am missing something or you don't have a blade in front of you cos I can not see what I think you want me to see.

                thanks again for input

According to your first post you have just literally dug it out of storage and switched it on resulting in you having the last channel list you had on there which looks to be a motorised list, If you load the list from here: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...=1#post2496901 which is just 28.2? east when you press the group button the top satellite will be 28.2? east followed by Fav groups such as HD,Movies,Sport etc...

if you load a newer firmware than the one you have on at present the firmware is defaulted to a Motorised satellite list so you need to load the 28.2? east list again

                    OH right

                    now that makes more sense

I wondered why I was not seeing fav's

I have (downstairs) two cables coming in, 1 off sly dish, other off motorised dish.

I Think it best if I leave the blade alone and bung a spiderbox on, as the blade was originally set up (painstakingly) for other sat's as well and I might go back to using it again.

Thanks for clearing things up for me
