    Spanish sport HD channels?

    I live in London and used to be Sky's bitch for like two years. I couldn't pay the ?110 a month anymore and have ditched Sky, I got myself an Openbox V8S and a nline subscription and job done.

    However, I only ever watched football on Sky, nothing else, Champions League and La Liga.

    As everyone knows, Sky Sports is only SD, and was thinking it's easier to get Champions League and La Liga games off Spanish TV?

    I've asked a guy from gumtree and he said I will need to get an Iris 9900 HD (from Spain apparently!), point bigger dish to Astra, and he will install everything for me including D+ / C+ Liga / C+ Liga Campeones, etc. He also mentioned I have to be connected to the Internet.

    Question is, can I do this by myself, as I imagine is basically the same process as with what I've done so far? If yes, what do I need and where do I get it from?

    I only need couple of hints, I can do the research and get this sorted out myself. Thanks!!

      Hi,

      I am afraid we cannot discuss the Illegal aspect of receiving channels without a valid legal subscription, It is clearly stated in the forum rules what we can and cannot discuss and i am afraid N Lines is one of those taboo subjects.

      What we can help you with is the part about receiving 19.2? east which is Astra1 and holds those relevant packages you want, I would suggest at least a 60cm dish the Skybox V8s will adequately pick up all of those channels with ease after all it is a satellite receiver.

      For the so called Illegal part you will need to research this off board as you have done previously with the purchase of the V8s

          Thanks for you reply and sorry for not reading the rules. I normally do it, however seeing the Openbox SKY channel lists on the forum and couple of other posts about various things, I've assumed this forum is more permissive. Thanks for the helpful details!

              Dont they make a thingy that points to both 28.doodah and 19. doodah so you can get both?

                  Hi. In my opinion its best to get a motor to get more satellites. As you live in London if you send me a PM i might be able to help you if required.
