Hi,
The two most obvious options are taking out a paid subscription with Sky or motorising the satellite dish.
If your looking for internet in a rural area and there is no landline it is usually via a mobile phone network or satellite internet. Sometimes there is a community wifi network.

If you were hoping to go down the route of what we are not allowed to talk about on this forum, remember that it is the ‘ping rate’ that is important not the download or upload speed of your ISP.
To put it in the most basic of terms the dreambox sends a ‘ping’ to the c/s server asking can it access this channel and the server pings back that yes you can. Therefore it might be possible that even with 2g mobile internet that the ping rate might be regular enough to get those extra channels.
I can remember reading a discussion on having a setup in rural areas either on this forum or another forum therefore a google search might help.
Similarly satellite internet has been around for years now, therefore you might want to do a bit of research on it before discounting it.Comment
