The bad news is when I move the dish it doesnt find any other sats
But Im not going to let that put me off ,the sat meter screams but I dont pick anything,I suss it,I hope

if you have 1W and your mount is plumb and if you make sure your set to USALS in the motorized section it should find the other sats just scan when you get to one.

Ok,dick...I was on disecq..changed that to usals now entered my position setting,Ill try and find another sat

completely messed up,used diseq for the motor,changed it to usals,now cant find anything,know where I went wrong tho,think thats a start.
I`ll get back out there and find thor again

make sure motor is at 0 degree move the mount around and elevation when best signal lock the bolts. If you need long and lat use your tomtom thats what i do on site when installing.
This will get the dish almost right a bit of mesing around will be needed to fine tune the dish. Move the dish to a sat in the east say 28 degree watch the sat signal on ur technomate press the dish on the top see if it rises or falls. if it rises move the motor on the pole west if it falls move it east but only slightly then re test.

Set it up with usals,think this is where I went wrong,I had the motor goto thor on diseq then changed to usals,anyways I got all confused.Not hard,you are all really patient...thanks
So just found thor again,scanning for channels right now,had a better signal for some reason..anyway once its finished scanning I`ll try for that astra 28e,will post up.

you really have to make sure the pole is plumb straight and the latitude is set sorrect on the motor or its like pissing in the wind. I use a inclimitor to set then with the motor at 0 degrees i find thor then lock up the bolts. Tom fine tune the tracking to the arc use the method i posted before it works everytime for me. Does help been installing motorised since 1985.

on screen position setting is 2.0w and 53.3n
