mostly i just use the disq 1.2 setting neva really used the usals shud find a button on the motor to move east or west takes power from the technomate save all sats manual

Sorry to bother you gents again..I think I have the answer but just want to make sure before I get the tools out again
I get all the sats from 15w to 19.2E but nothing beyond that,I understand Id possibly need jodrell bank to get 30w hispasat but I cant get anything beyond 19.2E.Is this because my mast my be a little off plumb ? or have I got some settings wrong ? and if so is it a big job getting it correct,I was kind of hoping it may be because I could have the lat set wrong on the motor but fear its the mast is askew.
Oh,my lnb is perfectly straight... if I get the meter out again is it possible the signal may be a little stronger if I tilt it a bit

your ark is out mate i think your elvation is a little to high and to compensate for altering your elevation you will have to alter your declaration a little you should be able to pick up 30w and 28.e with no problem

We receive nothing more than 42e>8w and thats because we did what you did and used 28e as your set up sat and our poles arent 100 percent plumb. Ours must me slightly more plumb as we receive more sats.

yes only very slight keep it on 1w as that will be the highest part of your ark keeping your meter on making sure you still get a good signal then remove your meter and try moving the dish via your box to 28e till you get all the sats

hello mate,
you should get from 30W to at least 39E or 42E even, at a quality reading around the 80 mark on the strong channels the lat on the motor must be the same as you input into the box. the mount MUST be 100% plumb. and providing you have input your lat and long correctly and pressed "go to" on your chosen set up sat, then moved your motor assembly and dish by hand to tune it in you should track the arc ok.you can fine tune the east/west setting by adjusting your longitude in the menu but we will come back to that once your tracking ok.I have set up using 28.2 on some of my set ups without trouble but your mounting pole must be upright.

your dish must also be exactly central on the motor mount.(you can fine tune the focus & skew of the lnb later but if the F-plug is pointing down and its central in the holder that should be good enough for starters
