Ive given up.
The signal I was getting on my meter on thor today was so weak,it wasnt registering on the reciever..I tried everything I know.5 hours of arsing about.I wish I had just left it as it was.Ive had to admit defeat before I smash it all up.
Thanks all again and good luck for the future,hopefully some packages open for you all soon.

morning mate have you got it on bbc world on the transponder no i posted on thor this gives you the strongest signal and you WILL be able to lock on have another try you know the feeling you had when you got it you can have it again

Gents,I was at work today thinking about it.
I had calmed down.
Ive done it,Im watching the poker channel on thor now at 99% signal strength.
The problem
one of the F connectors wasnt put on properly..I knew I had it aligned correctly but couldnt fathom why my signal was so weak,thought about it all day at work...came home checked all the connections...boom Im sorted.
Thanks and more thanks...always worth a mention if someone is having trouble.

putting mine up soon, 1m motorised, just need some T&K brackets and a scaff pole, got the dish/dark motor. been a good read this, looks like im in for a rough ride!
