Swap file on Giga blue quad plus

Ok I know its easy to put a swap file on the VU+ BLACK HOLE IMAGE but is there an advantage putting one on the Giga blue Quad plus and if so how can you set it up on the quad.
I use kodi direct and thought a bit more memory may help.
any advice welcome.

swapfile are only used for old slow crappy boxes like solo and duo which love the spinning vix image ,did not think your box was crappy?

it could slow box down as not needed.

thanks m8 thought that but have other problem cannot get box to boot at all since new update stuck in a loop cannot get past splash screen keep you updated.

the reason your in a loop is because your flash memory is not erased properly regards jovie

Thanks I know but tried flashing with several USB'S every one would not flash eventually got a flash of an old USB I had it was the usb's that through me as I used 5 different ones to try and flash then used one of my older sticks to flash and hey presto it pays to get the decent usb sticks.

correct many times i have said get good makes of usb ,i use integral 8gb which flashes when doing something,and have stuck in rear an 8gb kingston micro usb for epg and swapfiles on solo and duo,hope you have not forgotten usb for epg setup??
