Extending Sky coaxial cable, no feed/signal

    Hi all,
I have to extend my sky coax cable to move my TV and VU Solo2 box to opposite wall. I bought 3m cable from ebay, it is pre fitted with F connectors and joining barrels.
3m Black Twin Satellite Coax Cable Coaxial F Lead For Sky Plus HD 3D TV Freesat http://r.ebay.com/O9UFiL
2 x High Quality Twist on Joining Barrels ( Pre Fitted )
    4 x High Quality Twist on F Connectors ( Pre Fitted )

When I connect to extend cable, I do not get any feed. However, box works with original cable.
I can see F connectors are fitted very well to 3m cable and joining barrels looks ok.
I tried shifting barrels to other end, tried makeing sure wire in centre goes into barrels. Is there anything I can try to fix this issue?
    Thanks,
    zhlad

Sounds like an issue with the original installed cable as this is the Correct way to extend or join cables with minimal loss to signal levels, i would first try and re-terminate the original cable by taking the F connectors off and cutting of the exisitng used cable end approx 1cm and then re-do the cable and try again

Thank problem was in new cable. It had netted wires touching central (main) wire, possibly causing short circuit. I removed F connected and refitted. All working. Thanks for your help.
