guys can someone help me. Lost my signal the other day so went out to the dish with my sat finder meter to see what was wrong. What I found was that with the lnb in the normal vertical position the signal strength was reasonable but the quality was terrible. When I turned the lnb I had to move it to an almost horizontal position before I got the quality back to normal. Have swapped the lnb and it is still the same so not an lnb problem. My setup looks ok although the pole is very slightly off the perpendicular but nothing serious. All suggestion as to what the issue is are welcome.

Hi m8. It is a diseq 1.2 motorised setup.. It is a 0.9m dish on a ground mount. Have checked the pole with a spirit level and the front face is perfect but the side face is slightly off. (not much). Had workmen in the garden where the dish is but cannot see any obvious change in any of the dish or motor settings. Just find it strange why the polarity has changed so much.. !!!!
Cannot leave it like this as the lnb connectors are facing the elements. Was trying to avoid playing about with the pole as it is not the easiest thing to adjust and will then have to alter the other dish and motor setting so any feedback on why the polarity has changed would be appreciatedVU Solo2 (clone) , Alsat GBOX V3000 positioner, 1.8m Precision motorised dish. Hi Does the motor actually move - if so then cable from receiver to motor is fine. Is LNB cable from motor connected properly. It may be that workmen may have moved pole a little and you have lost your positions. You may need to retune the sats again.

Hi guys thanks for ur replies. The motor does move so I have decided to start from scratch and see if that fixes the problem.VU Solo2 (clone) , Alsat GBOX V3000 positioner, 1.8m Precision motorised dish.
