    Receiver or motor issue

I've just set up a manhattan XT m receiver to a technomate motor.
Got it set up on 0.8w got signal and tuned in set dish to 28e all fine.
But more often when moving to a different satellite the dish dies not always move. Now I don't know if issue is with receiver or motor

Suggest you double check connectors and that the inner copper core is long enough for the connectors. Then maybe try a new cable if it's an old one.Good luck.Cheers

Hi Are you using USALS or 1.2 to move the dish??? If using 1.2 then you will need to find satellites manually and store the positions otherwise dish wont move. With USALS it will move automatically. How old is the motor and what model of TM ???

      Regards

            It's was the receiver.
The motor is a new technomate 2600 mk2 metal gears.
I've just hooked up a technomate 5402 hd receiver. Told it dish was pointing at thor using usals.
Everything is working fine now. It's swinging from one satellite to another
