EPG on Zgemma Star 2S

I have recently bought one of these. It was all set up for me so basically plug and play.

For some reason the EPG only seems to be listing the stuff on Freeview and maybe a few other channels.

It's not showing listings for most of the main SLY channels.

Any ideas ???

what is it set too in the main menu under EPG is it using Rytec providers or EPGrefresh

Really new to this box so not 100% sure what i'm looking for. Can't see either of those 2 names.

On the bottom of my EPG tab it has CrossEPG and XMLTV-Importer.

Am i looking in the right place ??

I've just gone into something and updated rytec providers and updated xepgb providers and that seemed to put alot more info in EPG but still not every channel.

OhGo to cross epg and select opentv and choose the uk option. Job done
Oh don't forget to download after selecting provider

Been having a bit of an experiment this afternoon, and don't know how I managed it but on the EPG ,the different tabs (bouquets I think ??) across the top of the epg have disappeared, and also the + and - 24 hours thingy has gone.

Is there anyway I can get this back as it was ??

press epg then when in there press munu buton then you will see setings you can chage it might be in there

Have had a quick look in there but there doesn't seem to be any settings to do what I want to do, is there somewhere else that changes the type of EPG that shows ??

You could always load up your backup that you should have made before you started messing. If you don't have one then it's a lesson learned. The first thing you do once you have all favorite plugins installed and the most basic of working setups is do a full image backup then you can play away till your hearts content. Without knowing what you were messing with makes it almost impossible for us to put you back on the right track

To me it just looks like an older version of the Sly EPG

with imdb search,add timer,epg search and add autotimer across the bottom and no seperate bouquet tabs across the top etc

where it used to have the +1 hour and -1 hour thingys across the bottom and seperate tabs for the bouquets

Did you change the skin? ???? You are in the graphical epg (by far the best in my opinion) Hold down the epg button for single, multi or graphical epg options

No mate, the skin is the same but it used to look like the this official SLY one

You've changed more than one thing. For a start you now have picons displayed and have removed channel numbers. It also looks like you have chosen to display as text instead of graphical. Go to your epg then press menu. The very first option should be view mode of that is set to text change it to graphics and see what difference that makes. It also looks like you have changed the settings in autobouquet not to display channel numbers

I didn't actually change anything, I was doing something else and it did itself, I think i may have been asked do I want to keep changes and prob said yes, when I shouldn't have.

I have now removed the picons but can't work out how to get channel numbers there ??

I know the bouquets are there because if I press the arrow buttons on previous and next it goes to them, they just don't show on tabs across the top of tv guide, and the things the colour buttons do are different.

It's probably all in the settings but don't know where to look.

I don't use that skin m8 (I'm not a fan of making my box look like an inferior product ) so can't really help much more. Is there a default setting in the skin options. I'm not even sure what sly blue skin version it is. If you knew where the skin came from and uploaded the ipk I'd install it and find the settings for you.

According to my box it is blueHD v3.1 by rossi2000 and simonsez
