SUNRAY 4 HDse issue please help

    Hi guys,
I accidentally purchased 2 x Sunray 4 HDse triple tuner boxes when i should have purchased dm80hdse single sat tuner box which I have dealt with for years. Ive been up all night and am struggling with this one. 1st box when turned on and getting ip says #84d. Tried 12 images some worked some didnt but not one would pick up on any channels in a scan/autoboquetsmaker.
Retired to bed about 3am. This morning i plugged in second box and when getting ip noticed it said #84a. Openatv my comfort image worked fine and is scanning as we speak.
I have read and read and still dont understand what im led to beleive is a bootloader issue.

    can anyone help please?

It should do as the Sunray are just re-badged Clone Dreambox, Have you also thought about downgrading the bootloader on the 84d one and loading the 84a bootloader so you can use the image from the working 84a model

You flash the bootloader like you would do any image, i normally open a web browser flash the bootloader first then open up a second web browser page and then flash the corresponding image with the same bootloader and then re-boot the receiver.

          I have attached the 84a Sim2 bootloader
