    TM500 v DM500

Ok, after having a fair bit of time with both these receivers i can tell you that the TM500 does everything the DM500 does but has a few extra options like audio priority (i think that the dm has that in neutrino), there is also a menu where you can retrieve your ISP ip. the TM runs cool and never crashes unless you have the twitchiest fingers going. turns the motor relevenly fast. The DM however IMHO has slightly better pic.
The TM500 doesnt have composite ( the three holes ) but the dm does.
Also i have had a few glitches with the download server on the TM using UR image but thats fixed now and im put to using the tm500 now instead of the dm500.

This is available in enigma images in all boxes,, including dm500.

there is also a menu where you can retrieve your ISP ip.

again, dreambox code and code was contributed by Cli team, so works on dreambox, itgate and tm.

The Diseqc enigma code is exact same,, perhaps a slight better tuner in tm box, ( especially if your comparing against a clone dreambox ), so no differnece in motor code between dm500 and tm500.
The DM500 should never have a better picture quality to be honust,, the iTgate sister box is far superiour to a dm500, although we also have component ( 3 holes too, but red, green and blue, )for video.
the UR server is fine, and has had no down time in 3 weeks.

I dont see it on nabilo. Ok after reading the red it seems as if the dm500 is better But why are these extra functions not default in nabilosat?

Go to the web interface and click configuration-->settings, then scroll down and you'll see Audio Channels Priority

That's where it is on Pli anyway.

Exactly,, and is part of any image that uses expert web interface( in otherwards its from tuxbox-cvs code ),,, which by the way is included on nablosat image.
