Pace Sky digibox problem

I have an old Pace Sky digibox which is used in the bedroom for multiroom. Have had no problems until we cancelled Sky movies . The box is stuck in standby. I have phoned sky and gone through the system reset but it still doesn't work. Do i need a new digibox or should i pay ?65 for sky callout charge? Or is there anything else I can do? Thank you.

try turning it off at the mains then while holding the backup button in on the box turn the mains back on this may force an update download,you should see a please wait sign come up on the TV.hold the back up button in till this appears dont power off the box while its updating.
